We Have A Mission
It is the mission of Pueblo de Dios to Seek, Invite, and make Disciples of Christ. We have been a mission church of two Lutheran churches for the past 5 years: Zion and Prince of Peace. We are actively becoming a financially self-sustaining body of believers. It is our goal to plant 5 new Spanish Speaking churches in the Northern California area within the next 7 years.
Another significant goal for Pueblo de Dios is to build an indoor soccer field for the youth in the community. We are committed to providing healthy and fun activities in a safe and wholesome environment for the youth of San José.
It is impressed upon every member of Pueblo de Dios to recognize the Lutheran heritage of our theology that we are saved by Faith and the Grace of God. This enables us to have an identity through Christ.
Whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them,
I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock:
and the rain descended, the floods came,
and the winds blew and beat on that house:
and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock.
